MÉTCOR Inc. is the economic development arm of the North Slave Métis Alliance (NSMA). This corporation was developed to create business and employment opportunities for the Métis peoples in the North Slave Region of the Northwest Territories.
Our Business Philosophy
MÉTCOR actively seeks joint venture partnerships with reputable companies that are already established in their field, have interest in expanding their projects within the North Slave Region of the NWT and delivering profits to all partners involved.
These joint ventures, along with other associated companies MÉTCOR owns and/or operates, form the basis of MÉTCOR’s subsidiary companies. They provide a range of services to the NWT mining industry, creating direct and indirect, employment and contracting opportunities for members of the NSMA, local residents and future generations.
